Adrian Galysh portrait

Adrian Galysh - Adrian Galysh is an international recording artist who has released six electric guitar-centric solo albums in the blues and progressive rock genres. Regularly seen in publications like Guitar Player, Guitar World, Powerplay (UK), Fireworks (UK), Todo Guitarra Y Bajo (Argentina), Blues Matters, and even Modern Drummer, Galysh became a go-to guitarist for live and session work in Los Angeles.

Critically acclaimed west coast guitar player and session musician has made a name for himself in the most prominent guitar circles, mostly for his tasteful, melodic instrumental songwriting style. Rock guitarist Adrian Galysh’s most recent release VENUSION SUNRISE: 20th Anniversary Edition revisits his debut record, featuring completely re-recorded versions of all nine tracks, the remastered original 1998 album, and two bonus live recordings. While Galysh performed and produced a majority of the music himself at his home studio in Los Angeles, CA, the new recordings also feature Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper) on drums, and special guest Stuart Hamm (Satriani, Vai) on bass for two tracks.

“Venusian Sunrise was recorded in my parents' basement on a single Alesis 8-track ADAT recorder," Galysh said. "While the performances were the best I could do with limited resources at the age of 22—it lacks the richer guitar tones, huge advances in recording technology and realistic orchestral sounds of today, but most importantly, it lacks real drums!” “The new version of Venusian Sunrise will be performed and recorded the way I wished could have done back then," Galysh adds, "but with the tools and know how that didn’t exist at the time." Los Angeles-based guitarist Adrian Galysh is an in-demand solo artist, session guitarist, published author, and educator with an illustrious career spanning five studio albums.

Now residing in Solvang, CA. Galysh performs fun 'acoustified' versions of classic rock and country songs audiences love to sing along with, as well as classic jazz and pop standards.
